Sunnyside hosts a lovely blend of restaurants, venues, and stores for residents to enjoy. Heading to Huckleberry Roasters is a popular way to start the day off. This hip coffee shop brews up a delicious cup of Joe with its menu of small plates in a minimalistic space. For a memorable dining experience, The Wolf’s Tailor has a superb prix fixe menu with mouth-watering dishes and a great atmosphere. For handcrafted home decor and artisan goods, Sub Rosa Mercantile has a fabulous selection to choose from. Sunnyside Market is beloved by residents for its local produce, scrumptious sandwiches, and homemade goods. A trip to Diz’s Daisys floral shop, which also offers delivery, can brighten up any day with their stunning arrangements.

As a community with so much to offer, residents of Sunnyside can always find a new place to explore or an event to attend. Spending time in the great outdoors is popular here, with Chaffee Park drawing a large crowd on sunny days. To encourage members of the community to get involved in and explore their passions for music, the Sunnyside Music Festival occurs in the park each year and is a blast to attend. With music, local food, live entertainment, and activities for the whole family to enjoy, it’s a perfect place to create lifelong memories. 

The convenient location of Sunnyside also makes day trips to surrounding neighborhoods a breeze. Adjacent to Sunnyside lies Berkeley, with lots of local shopping in addition to Friday art walks along Tennyson Street.
